We've got you covered. All we need is your downloaded files and your permission to access the information to upload to SimpleLaw. You don't need to do any of the work yourself—we can generally get you up and running on SimpleLaw within 3 business days, but usually it's even faster than that!

Once you subscribe to SimpleLaw, you have access to hundreds of vetted paralegal professionals who can help you with documents, cases, or more. Search based on your geographic area, area of law, or by name. We vet all paralegals before approving their profiles. 

Once you connect with your preferred paralegal, it's all up to you to negotiate the fees. Once you accept the paralegal, you have the option to add them to your SimpleLaw account. With our granular permission sets, you decide what the paralegal can see... and what they can't. 

If you need to refer a case or look for co-counsel, you can simply select an existing attorney on the SimpleLaw platform or invite someone you know. Whether you're referring a matter or looking for co-counsel, the client gets to review that profile and choose whether or not to accept them. Once the client approves the attorney, the firm decides what the external co-counsel can see... and what they can't. 

If it's a referral, the firm can see who has denied or accepted the lead, throughout the process. For co-counsel, they're simply added to the case and have the visibility you specify.

Basically, everything that isn't a Paid Integration (noted above) is included. That means the entire billing cycle, invoicing, a client portal, custom intake, document automation, conflict checking, notes, task management, and so much more.

It's easier to tell you what isn't included:

  • QuickBooks fees;
  • Costs related to your data storage if you opt not to use the SimpleLaw AWS cloud;
  • Fees from LawPay (if you choose to use LawPay); and
  • DocuSign (if your firm chooses to use it).
