Dr. Loren Keith Martinson, Author and President of SimpleLaw, Inc.
L. Keith Martinson, author of SimpleLaw Texas Divorce, SimpleLaw Texas Name Change, SimpleLaw Texas Wills & Trusts, and SimpleLaw Texas General Forms, and who is the President of SimpleLaw, Inc., is a Family Law Attorney currently practicing in Houston, Texas.
A graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law and licensed to practice law by the Supreme Court of the State of Texas since 1986, Mr. Martinson is well-respected and known for his positive achievements in the legal field. He also understands the need for Texas specific do-it-yourself products.
Working with the Texas courts on a daily basis allows Mr. Martinson to keep SimpleLaw, Inc.'s Software & Form Books up-to-date with Texas laws.
Mr. Martinson works diligently at making sure SimpleLaw, Inc.'s Software & Form Books provide the documents and instructions that result in accurate, affordable, and complete legal work for self-representation in Texas.
Prior to entering the legal profession Mr. Martinson obtained his Associate's Degree from American River College in Sacramento, CA, his Bachelor's Degree from Minot State College in Minot, ND, and completed 2 years of post-graduate studies at the Criminal Justice Institute at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX. He worked extensively with the criminal justice system in Texas before opening his Family Law practice. His involvement included several years as a Texas State Parole Officer in Houston and a Felony Adult Probation Officer in Fort Worth.
In addition to practicing law Mr. Martinson authored a series of audio tapes entitled Understanding the Law. This series, which was widely distributed to libraries in Texas as well as among his many clients, included practical information on the legal aspects of Divorce, Bankruptcy, Landlord/Tenant Relationships, Collections, and several other topics. In 1997 he authored his first work for SimpleLaw, Inc. entitled SimpleLaw Texas Divorce. Over the next several years he added various other form books and software titles to his list with SimpleLaw, Inc. including those titles listed above.
With the exception of
“How to Avoid a DUI,” Dr. Martinson has authored all of the material
currently available through SimpleLaw, Inc.
